This policy explains how Torky Store uses your personal data when you visit this store, create an account, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.

Who is responsible for your data

Torky Store is responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). You can reach us:

What we collect

• Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number and the addresses you give us.
• Your orders: what you buy, prices, how you pay and whether you have paid, delivery, returns and refunds, and any receipt or photo you upload with them.
• Your account, if you create one: your sign-in details (your password is stored only as a one-way hash), saved addresses, wishlist and reviews.
• Messages you send us, and whether you want our newsletter and offers.
• Technical data: the IP address and browser type of an order, a sign-in or a message, to keep the store secure and prevent fraud.
• Your cookie choices and, only if you allow analytics, a random visit id for our own visit counter.

Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own page: we never receive your full card number.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To take, prepare, deliver and support your orders, returns and refunds, to send you order updates and to run your account: to perform our contract with you.
• To send you offers and newsletters: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the link in each email or in your account.
• To keep invoices and accounting records: our legal obligation.
• To keep the store secure and prevent fraud and abuse: our legitimate interest in protecting our customers and our business.
• To answer your messages: to take the steps you ask for, or our legitimate interest in replying to you.
• To count visits with our own visit counter, and with Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel if we use them: only with your consent in the cookie banner.

Who receives your data

• Our platform: this store runs on a platform operated by Devya Solutions, which hosts it on servers in Germany, in the European Union, and processes your data only on our instructions.
• Payments: if you pay by card or wallet, Paymob receives your name, email address, phone number and the amount, to take the payment.
• Delivery: if we ship your order with Bosta, Bosta receives your name, phone number, email address, address and the parcel details.
• Email: the emails we send you, such as order updates, are delivered through the platform’s email provider.
• Analytics and advertising: if we use Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel and you allow them, Google or Meta receive data about your visit directly from your browser, under their own terms with us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data outside your country

The platform’s servers are in Germany. Paymob and Bosta work in Egypt, and Google and Meta process data in the United States. Your data goes to Paymob and Bosta because it is needed to take your payment and deliver your order; Google and Meta receive it only if you allow their cookies, under their own terms for transfers to the United States.

How long we keep it

• Your account: until you delete it or ask us to.
• Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Messages you send us: as long as we need them to help you.
• Your newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
• The IP address and browser type of an order, sign-in sessions that have ended, and the receipt of your cookie choice: kept until the platform’s automatic deletion removes them — after 180 days, 30 days and 3 years, once it is switched on.
• A bag you leave unfinished, with the details you typed at checkout: kept until we delete it; ask us and we will.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format. You can withdraw a consent at any time; that does not affect what we did before.

• In your account you can update your details, addresses and marketing choices, and delete your account from your profile once you have no open orders or returns.
• For a copy of your data or anything else, write to us at ahmedragabsayed33@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are, and we answer within one month.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to a data protection authority: in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the authority where you live or work; in Egypt, the Personal Data Protection Center; in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

Cookies

We use the cookies and storage this store needs to work; analytics and marketing tools run only if you allow them in the cookie banner. Our cookie list shows each one, why we use it and for how long, and “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page changes your choice at any time.
